The three paintings exhibited with NAPA at the Obsidian Gallery in 2008 are from a series of paintings I am currently working on.
The painting in progress is much larger than these images and includes the three figures together. It encompasses many things that concern and interest me.
Womans symbology is a constant source of inspiration. I often include personal and universal symbols in my work.
Placed in the three paintings exhibited is the shape of a cowrie shell, this being a symbol of healing, fertility, rebirth.
