Arthur Gee
Warrington, Lancashire, United Kingdom
My subjects are landscape and bird life.
With regard to pure landscape I am tending to move away from brushwork to applying acrylic paint by other methods - E.g. splatter, print, rag roll and other experimental techniques so as to acquire a textured appearance. The supports I use are unprimed watercolour paper or unprimed hardboard.
I use gloss medium or matt medium during the painting process brushwork. Impasto gel is also used and sometimes heavy body medium – also texture gel.
